I used to be a very devoted young church boy who never misses any fellowship of the week.
I was very devoted in serving the Lord because the founder of that ministry (someone in between her late 40's, not married) told us how she was able to keep herself holy (not disv!rgined) unto the lord
until she founded the ministry which I was a devoted member of.
I will seek her counsel on daily challenges of life and how to tackle them as she was my spiritual guardian.
On a particular fellowship, she instructed us (the members) to "repeat after me" in her prayers section.
We all did, placing one hand high and the other on the chest to show allegiance to the creator of life.
She said: No sickness shall befall me
We responded: No sickness shall befall me
She: No weapon formed against me shall prosper
We: No weapon formed against me shall prosper.
She: I will never bow to sorrow
We: I will never bow to sorrow
She: I WILL NEVER BOW TO THE PA.INS OF THE P£N!S!
We: We all opened our eyes in awe
She immediately cut in to tell us it was a slip of tongue and tried to move on with prayers.
See, you can deceive people most of the time, but you can't pretend forever.
At that moment, it occurred to me that I was being deceived, ever since I see all this holy holy lifestyle as a cruise.
