Police Inspector Lawal Ibrahim, attached to Kwali Division, reportedly passed away at Palasa Guest Inn

Police Inspector Lawal Ibrahim, attached to Kwali Division, reportedly passed away at Palasa Guest Inn, Gwagwalada, FCT, following a social engagement with Maryam Abba. 

According to DailyTrust, the incident occurred on Thursday morning, after the two had met on social media three months prior. Ibrahim had invited Maryam from Dutse, Jigawa State. 

Following a series of intimate encounters, Ibrahim became unresponsive, and despite efforts to revive him, he was declared dead at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital. 

Maryam reportedly attempted to revive him by sprinkling water on him, but he remained unresponsive. She alerted the hotel manager, Danlami Palasa, who contacted the police. 

Maryam was arrested, and several items, including watermelon, a suspected aphrodisiac drug, a phone charger, and the officer’s identity card, were recovered.
